Human Emotion Let Loose...

My moods reflect my thoughts
and decide they'd rather
take a hasty stroll
instead of hurting inside
the confines of a pensive soul.

Frustrated feelings
make failed attempts
at climbing castles of fortitude
only to drown into welcoming whirlpools
of wisely tempered forgiveness.

Verse overflows from the scaffolds
of emotion let loose
by a heart willing to scatter
all that holds it together -
rusted reins of ravaging sensation.

Pefectly lovely ... the pools of wisely tempered forgiveness ... really touching. Thank you!

I'm here from last week's Poetry Potluck. On Sunday Rally Dispatch this a.m. on the Jingle Poetry site, I challenged folks to visit ten of our poet bloggers today and say "hello" for World Hello Day. I'm out now doing it myself. - Suspect I'll be the only one. LOL! - I saw you toward the end of the line of links and thinking you might not have received as many views and comments as others. Hope that won't deter your participation this week.

Thanks Jingle. The very fact that a person is loved as a poet speaks volumes of creativity per se and the person/s giving that love...

Hi Jamie. So sweet of you to do this. Yes, encouragement helps for all writers. But the main motto should be to write come what may.

Thanks.
