Part of the Cosmos

Part of the cosmos
I lie untended to
like all creation-
plants, creatures and all.

Or, is it my innate ego
prompting me
to arrogantly presume
that this hi-fi adult
needs attention?

Isn't creation
alive and kicking
working diligently
without any aid

from
 I, Me, Myself?
