Two Sides of the Same Coin

Celebrating

Birth and death,

Praying

For life,

Condoling a demise.

Celebrations and festivities

Of life’s irony

Staring me hard in my face,

Stone-faced, ruthless.

Where do I draw the line?

Between joy and sorrow?

Between faith and hopelessness?

What I do today has no relevance tomorrow.

Life or death -just two sides of the same coin.

Celebration and festivity – all in the mind…

HI,

Thanks for this excellent poem capturing the essence of Life.

Life is full of surprises and shocks. What do to? I have also faced lots of tragedies in life. Only Time is the best healer.

Hello Hari,

I know. Life can really teach us some lessons and sometimes we don't learn at all and have to do some un learning too!

But as you said: time is the best healer...
