Walking....Running....Falling....

I am walking,

I know.

I am supposed to

but, is it where I should be?

A leisurely walk in the park-

perceiving nature in 3D vision

is what I need to do

but do I?

My lethargic tension-free stroll

transforms into a run

and I never know

until I trip and fall.

Am I going to wait

until my aging winter

to talk the talk

and walk the walk in the park?

Perhaps it is best to run as long as one can. Time to walk later!

Shail, I enjoyed this piece. The last line is one we all should ask ourselves. I love your choice of photos too.

Hi Cheryl,

Nice that you enjoyed reading this piece of verse. I know. We need to ask this to us. In a way, I am asking myself this.

Thanks again...

There are 600 million ways, people live, some by option and others by compulsion.
Walking, running and talking get meshed most of the times
Life means different things for different people.
It is partly a personal choice.
Well posted and pleasant poem.

Thank you Dr. Madan. I agree, each one of us have a completely different perspective on life. Upto us to get the right one.....
