Sometimes, it's just not enough!

Sometimes,
this is all the space
I ask of you.
(nothing less, nothing more)

Sometimes,
this is all the space
I can give to you.
(that's all I have to share)

Sometimes,
this all the space
I can get from you.
(in charity or in love)

Sometimes,
Even this little piece of lonely space
seems doomed to a disillusioned destiny.
(for my good or for yours)

That's lovely, it's all about balance, isn't it..and such a fine balance at times...

Agree with Cynthia, it is about balancing and finding just enough space to manage in without feeling claustrophobic.

How beautifully you have said it, Shail... sometimes, everything seems like nothing.. while sometimes, even nothing seems like the entire universe!!
I really liked how you have translated the depth of that image into such lovely words here..

Thanks dear Kavita. Space is what we never give or trample upon. Sometimes, we give too much of it too. That balancing part is really difficult to sustain any relationship. Don't you think so?

Yes, managing without being strangulating or getting strangulated is indeed a challenging task...

Thanks Sherry.

Thanks Cynthia. And yes, it is indeed all about balance. The pros and the cons, and how we do it.....
