Celebrating
Birth and death,
Praying
For life,
Condoling a demise.
Celebrations and festivities
Of life’s irony
Staring me hard in my face,
Stone-faced, ruthless.
Where do I draw the line?
Between joy and sorrow?
Between faith and hopelessness?
What I do today has no relevance tomorrow.
Life or death -just two sides of the same coin.
Celebration and festivity – all in the mind…
love the ending line,
ReplyDeletewell expressed celebration spirits and ideas..
thanks for the support.

HI,
ReplyDeleteThanks for this excellent poem capturing the essence of Life.
Life is full of surprises and shocks. What do to? I have also faced lots of tragedies in life. Only Time is the best healer.
