Magic In the Air!

I wave my wand and magic is in the air
drowning eerie wails and sorrowful cries,
my magic sways
a bagful of starry wishes, dreams and desires
over anyone who pauses to drop by.
No longer a right of the Harry Potters
and the witches and wizards of yonder yo,
my magic wand sprouts up
uncalled, uninvited, unnoticed
spreading goodness, peace and joy
around those who long
 for a day of respite,
craving for a little wish,
longing for that lost love.

My magic wand is here for all.
Come on, let's have a ball!

  13. So sweet of you June. We can create magic if we want to. But most of us including me are too lost in time to remember waving the magic wand of inner joy. Don't you think so?

  16. Hi Claudia. thanks. I agree with what you say about Harry Potter not having the last word on magic. What are we ordinary mortals nay poets for?
