Winner?!

What do they get
hurling bombs of hatred
to destroy innocence?
Taking the name of religion
to feed on prejudice,
Using God's name
to brutally murder His very creation.
Fear, frustration and fissures of destruction feed on their famished ego
only to kill a race they belong to.
They do not know
that a bomb in a bin
is only a prelude to sin,
something which their God never proposed
when their religon came into being.
If wars could be won this way
there'll be nobody left to stay,
not even them.
Who will the winner be then?

War has no winners...only peace, understanding, and forgiveness can begin to heal old wounds. A beautiful poem about a deep, complex subject.

Very True Write Girl. War has no winners but do the people waging the wars realize this? NO! and leave behind so many losers, children, women and men.....
Thanks for the comments.
