Waiting For Grace....

I waited for the clouds to clear,

I waited for all near and dear

And yet, the oceans of gloom

threatened to tear my realms apart.

What was this?

A horrible dream?

A journey gone haywire?

The lust for life lost?

I helplessly held out my hands

for that invisible force

to grasp mine

to make my heart shine.

Chants of holiness descended from Above,

Waves of blessings engulfed my existence

And then I knew;

It was all there all along.

Searching for the key to life

in my locked mind

While it lay within

waiting for that infinite touch of grace....

Celebrating the Little Girl.

Today,

I celebrate.

I celebrate the little girl

in me.

Today,

I blow old candles away

Wishing new joys,

Welcoming hope.

Today,

I drown past worries away.

Gracefully thanking for what I have,

what I am and Will be.

Abundant Arrogance!

My abundance -

her flooding famine.

My abundant love -

a rarity in his scalded

home and hearth.

Abundant grace

for me

falls short of realization

in someone's haven

of insecurity.

Do I even realize it?

Grace is....

......Growing old together

Sharing grudges, lust and hope.

Trusting when the world is lost

To the terror of insensitivity.

.......Flying high like an eagle

Alone, proudly in the bright blue sky

Waiting for no one 

In the vast expanse of the splendid horizon.

..Watching that ripple in the lake.

Spreading its essence all.... over.

Letting it dissolve inside You

Finally granting you the peace you were searching for.
