living amidst a conclusive backdrop
of Corona in the world,
I am stretching myself
to a maximum
to come up to the expectations
of an universe gone wrong
in its insensitive calculations
with Nature.
I have work to do
which I do every day anyway
and yet,
the virus-anxious atmosphere
ties invisible chains to my mind.
I read news of people gone positive
with the negative virus
and thank my stars
that me and my family
are spared this ironic negative-positive lot and yet,
I babble, stutter through the day
praying for a reprieve
from Mother Nature.
