ready to slide under the surgical knife.
It was to give strength, purify blood
and yet,
when I sliced each pod,
insensitively shelling out the seeds
I felt an instinctive emotion
as if a dead foetus was being ousted
to make life easier to live,
to get rid of something which was useless to me now.
Was Mother Nature feeling the same
as she kept infecting humans
to purify the system?!
