NaPoWriMo: Day 29: The Warrior

He fought till the very end
leaving you hoping
that things will be fine again.
His big droopy eyes never did lie.
In life and on the screen
he was what was portrayed.
He couldn't be anything else!
That's how real he was.
That's how genuine his valiant vibes were
until the very end.
What he said you believed.
What he did you'd want to do.
Your emotion became his
crossing over lines of reel and real.
His mesmerising gaze,
his endearing smile
were just complementary assets
to make him your friend, brother, father.
This visit to his mother
will be as realistic
as can be.
He couldn't be there for her
as she left on her final journey
so, he became part of one himself.
Mother and son meet elsewhere
while other mothers, sons and daughters
mourn a demise
too realistic for comfort.
